This is my first attempt at uploading a run in 4k to avoid YT compression and was done in post using Handbrake. Output scaling to 1440p or 4k during stream offers better quality than a post job but made the live stream suffer, unless i upped the bitrate a lot which my upload speed may or may not be able to cope with. 1st phase - Shoot grenade early to the left just before she starts moving. Walk forward a bit to get closer to the middle. Shoot 2nd grenade to the right slightly to avoid it being blocked. 1st phase - The grenade launcher can deal splash damage to both arms even if you hit her face sometimes. When you get her health down to the point she starts using the floor spike move it is easy to time jumps and is a great moment to fire a shot and they seem to register easier. Quite happy with this time as I wanted to finish the category with a mid 1:02. Some issues in DM and RoS aside this is a very strong run with some good golds and Primagen was the gift that kept on giving with that RNG. Considering my sum of best is still just 1:02:05 after this run it makes me assured that I don't need to go for a 1:01 or anything close to it for the time being.

Super excited to get this as I consider it the final minute barrier for me unless I ruthlessly grind it down for weeks or months and/or new timesaves are found. The 1:03 happened a lot easier than expected, so I want keep trying to see where it can go. I PBd before this in the same stream which was a 1:04:05. I got a bit mad at livesplit for no reason here. I forgot to split Lair at the right time and then also thought I missed a whole bunch of splits when i didn't. My only display is my phone and the splits are tiny.

This is probably my last 100% run I'll ever do unless something big gets found that can drop the time by a lot (No not 1round phantoon, sorry). This was a grueling grind, the hardest to date. This was world record pace /1:12:2x pace with a slow mid. Very good run. Only Maridia post Draygon was on the sucky side and the world record was officially lost when i got the double whammy of being unable to do 2 cry due to MB's "good" cutscene position and missing a charge and forcing a 2nd ketchup. Very nice run with a lot of key moments good and bad. Being on potential wr pace at the very end was nothing more than a pleasant surprise so I didn't have any gripes about not getting it as my focus was just to pb. Satisfying PB. A few runs recently were close to pb with slow mids so to finally pb with an equivelent mid slow is nice. This is the main bulk of my remaining time save. Super happy with finishing this category for now with a time a bit lower than I expected to get. Crazy consistent run with a slow mid. Containing a fairly big Ceres PB and a huge 4 second gold at Ridley. Just some issues in WS after phantoon and much later on backtracking to G4. I'm going to try and improve it to around a mid 1:02. 1:01 seems almost too hard to be worth grinding for that considering my sum of best is only 1:02:20. No doubt further golds could get the SOB below 1:02.

Congrats. I actually watch this with live. This run was nearly flawless. without 1 round fast phantoon, its nearly impossible to beat. I´ll wait Shinysheni. 1:12.0x pace if 1 round fast phantoon happen.
TY master88, glad you got to see it live. As the runner I would say i'm very happy with early game (start to Phantoon) and my late game (Draygon to ship). The mid game however is tough to watch for me, starting with the bowling robot and many other quite bad mistakes leading up to Botwoon. if I carried on playing i'd want to get a 1:12:1x for sure but I've stepped away as the reward just isn't worth the potential 3 months or so of pain lol. 1 round definitely has an advantage though that's for sure and this will not stay as WR for very long. Could be any day now from Zeni!

Nah that wasn't aimed at anybody at all. On the contrary it was more just a self conscious observation of how little emotion I end up expressing for what should be a joyous occasion. But yeah steam prevented this from being a :22.
